About Greyhackle

We know your host as Greyhackle which we suspect has more to do with his physical appearance than anything else.

Greyhackle is a licensed guide in New Brunswick, Canada and has been fishing for Atlantic Salmon for more than 50 years. He caught his first salmon as a young teenager learning from his father. Over the years he has enjoyed success and sharpened his skills on the LaHave, St Marys, Stewiacke, Margaree, Miramichi, Dungarvon and more. He began tying his own flies over 40 years ago and now uses them almost exclusively.

For years now he has been tying flies for his clients and guiding them to success on the river. Many of the flies we offer are Greyhackle originals and others feature tweaks of existing patterns that he has developed and found to be effective over the years.

He has now decided to share his knowledge, tips and flies with you and we take pride in bringing you this site.
